报告人简介:

Dr. Kingsly AmbroseAssistant Professor of Agricultural and Biological Engineering at Purdue University. Dr. Ambrose earned his B.E. and M.E. degrees in Agricultural Engineering from Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, India. He earned his Ph.D. in Agricultural and Biological Engineering from Purdue University, USA. His research interests are in particle and powder characterization, particle modeling, particle design, and safety during powder handling. He has authored/co-authored 65 peer-reviewed journal articles and 5 book chapters. Dr. Ambrose has contributed in 118 conference presentations. His current research sponsors/collaborators include USDA, US Department of Labor, US DOE, The Andersons, CNH Industrial, National Grain and Feed Association, and Anton Paar.

Dr. Richard Stroshine: Professor, undergraduate Advisor of Agricultural Engineering at Purdue University. Dr. Stroshine earned his Ph.D. degree from Cornell University. He once won the College of Agriculture Dean’s Team Award – Integrated Corn Ethanol Co-Products and Purdue University Cooperative Extension Specialist Association Team Award – Managing Moldy Corn. His research interests are in Physical Properties of Biomaterials, Agricultural Materials & Food Products – Magnetic resonance detection of quality in agricultural materials & food products; measurement of grain storability & quality; grain drying & storage; physical properties related to quality of agricultural products & foods; properties of biomaterials as they relate to biomedical & bioprocess engineering.
